If time allows the intention is to deliver four projects, these being a rolling pin, a basic bowl, a spinning top and a honey dipper. Each project allows him to focus on a different technique and tool.
The idea is to provide the new and less experienced turners with the basic techniques such as proper stance, tool usage and mounting methods. For the more experienced turners, it may well act as a refresher and may possibly even eradicate some bad habits.
