18th August Club Night – Phil Rose

Our demonstrator for August will be Phil Rose of https://dragonsrose.studio/interactive-remote-demonstrations and he will be doing “Split Turning” – he will walk through the steps of creating one of his split turned pieces from basic wood through finishing and embellishment ideas. Typically, he embeds fused glass into the piece (he will show examples of fused glass), but other options will be discussed, including acrylic 3-d painting techniques, carving, and other embellishments. Phil will be hosting, and the link will be emailed to members before the meeting.
